In the summer of 2013, I was first introduced to motorcycles through friends who owned Honda Dio and Yamaha Jog scooters. What began with riding and modifying bikes soon grew into a deeper interest in understanding how they handled and performed. Over time, motorcycles became more than just a hobby — they became an important part of my life. Back then, I never imagined that this passion would eventually lead me into the suspension industry.
In 2019, driven by my passion for gymkhana training, I began to study motorcycle handling and suspension setup in greater depth. A back-to-back experience with the stock front suspension of a Ninja 400 and an Öhlins NIX cartridge kit gave me, for the first time, a clear understanding of what suspension truly means. I realized that suspension is not simply another component of a motorcycle — it directly shapes the communication between rider and machine. That experience became a defining turning point, leading me into the world of suspension.
As my understanding of suspension continued to deepen, more and more friends began coming to me for suspension servicing and setup. What started simply as helping friends solve problems eventually led to the opening of a suspension workshop with a friend — Monkey Hole Studio. From disassembly and servicing to suspension setup and tuning, this period gave me extensive hands-on experience with real motorcycles, real riders, and real-world riding conditions.
In 2021, we established our first company and began building formal partnerships with international suspension brands. Becoming the official Andreani distributor in China marked an important step in the professional development of our business. From there, we gradually introduced brands including SKF, KYB, Nitron, Slacker, and K-Tech, building a comprehensive supply network covering suspension products, components, specialist tools, and technical services.
Over the years, driven by my passion for the suspension industry and a desire to learn, I have traveled around the world to visit many of its best-known companies. These experiences have given me a deeper understanding of suspension design, engineering, and manufacturing. They have also strengthened my understanding of brands and made the path ahead increasingly clear.
In 2024, we established a partnership with LABA7, officially expanding into the field of suspension testing and production equipment. Our business evolved beyond component sales and suspension servicing to include dynamometers, vacuum filling machines, spring equipment, as well as technical training and after-sales support. This expansion enabled us to provide more comprehensive suspension technology solutions for suspension manufacturers, racing teams, and automotive and motorcycle OEMs.
In 2025, 云力悬挂 entered a new stage of development. We moved into a more comprehensive office and technical service facility, continued expanding our portfolio of products and brands, and reorganized our business around five core areas: equipment, consumables, product distribution, suspension services, and technical consulting. From independent workshops to suspension manufacturers, and from racing teams to automotive and motorcycle OEMs, we began providing more systematic and integrated solutions tailored to the needs of different customers.
Today, Yunli Suspension has built an integrated business platform covering suspension products, service consumables, testing and production equipment, technical training, and consulting services for OEMs. On one side, we continue to bring outstanding international products and technologies into China. On the other, we aim to leverage the supply chain capabilities and engineering resources we have built over the years to help promising products move from concept to development and production — and ultimately reach the global market.
